For registered US businesses that resell fragrance. Five short sections — we check the business and its resale certificate, then email your account number with the current pricelist. First orders start at $650 and reorders at $240, in any mix of the twenty houses.

01What we check4 items

Four things we check, and why.

  1. EINOptional

    It lets us match the legal name on your certificate to a registered business. Sole proprietors without one can leave the field blank.

  2. Resale certificateRequired

    It documents that you buy for resale — the reason a wholesale invoice carries no sales tax. Kentucky accounts can use Form 51A105, the Streamlined Sales Tax certificate (Form 51A260) or the MTC uniform certificate; out-of-state accounts send their own state’s resale documentation.

  3. Storefront or web shopRequired

    We need a real place of business: the street address of a shop, salon, spa or office — or a live web shop if you sell online only. No P.O. boxes; UPS doesn’t deliver to them.

  4. Business emailRequired

    Account number, pricelists, pro formas and tracking numbers all go here, so use the inbox your buyer reads. An address on your shop’s own domain helps us match it to the business.

After you submit, we ask by email for a signed copy of the certificate — a PDF or a clear photo of the signed page.

Thank you. The trade desk reviews applications Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM ET. What happens next:

  1. 01We verify the business and the certificate number within two business days.
  2. 02We ask by email for a signed copy of the resale certificate.
  3. 03Your account number and the current pricelist arrive by email. Orders confirmed and paid by 11:30 AM ET, Mon–Fri, ship the same day.

Not a physical one. Online fragrance retailers qualify with a live web shop — give its address in the Website field. Either way we need a resale certificate and a street address UPS can deliver to, not a P.O. box.

We don’t open accounts for consumers or for personal use.

No. Orders open once your account number is issued, within two business days of a complete application. Prices are open now, though: the pricelist goes out within four business hours and doesn’t need an account.

Alcohol-based fragrance is regulated as a Class 3 flammable liquid (UN1266, “Perfumery products”). It travels legally by ground as a Limited Quantity shipment; air service is restricted. That is also why we ship only to the lower 48 states and Washington, DC — not to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or outside the US.

Freight is free over $1,800; below that it is billed at cost.

To confirm the business is registered and buying for resale — that’s what lets the invoice go out without sales tax. The signed certificate stays on file with your account as our record that the sale was for resale.

We don’t sell either number or use it for marketing.
